Some customers like to select their own flavor assortment. We call that option "Choose Your Own." There is an additional charge of $5.00 per gift to select your own flavors ($3.00 for favor gifts). These Choose Your Own gifts are hand packed by a specialized team in our shipping department. Due to the extra handling required, we do have an additional labor charge.

Why do I have to pay tax?
Your order may be subject to local sales or use tax depending on the state to which your brownie gifts are being shipped.
Fairytale Brownies is not required to and does not collect sales or use taxes in all states. We currently collect tax only in the following states:
*Arizona billing addresses are taxed on the entire order. Shipments to Arizona are also taxed even if the order originates from a different state. The remaining states listed are only taxed if the gift is shipped to that state.
For all other states imposing sales or use taxes, your brownie purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation as food. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Most states require purchasers to file a sales and use tax return at the end of the year. Fairytale Brownies donates thousands of pounds of brownies to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, an organization committed to serving the needs of the poor and to providing
an opportunity for those more fortunate to serve others. On a national level, Fairytale Brownies supports KABOOM!, a nonprofit organization that empowers communities to build
playgrounds, with dollars and brownie gifts.
Because we have committed to these particular organizations, we are not able to consider other individual donations.
Why did I not receive the exact flavors as described?
On very rare occasions, product substitutions may occur.
What shipping carrier do you use?
Gifts are shipped via UPS Ground or UPS 3-Day, which are both premium shipping methods. Due to the perishable nature of Fairytale Brownies, we want your gift to arrive as quickly as possible with standard shipping.
How long does standard shipping take?
Standard Shipping may take 4-5 business days depending on location. See expected arrival options at checkout.
Why does my order take longer to arrive in the summer?
Standard shipping is only available Monday - Wednesday. Earliest arrival date is automatically presented at checkout or you have the option to choose a future arrival date.
Why did my brownies arrive warm? Are they still ok to eat?
The reusable ice pack and insulated box ensure your gift makes it out of Arizona without melting. When your gift box arrives, the ice pack will be melted and the brownies will be warm. There is no loss of quality with warm brownies. Your Fairytale Brownies can be placed in the refrigerator or freezer upon arrival to cool them. Or, they can be enjoyed immediately!
Can I track a USPS order?
Orders shipped via USPS Priority mail can't be tracked. Your shipping confirmation email will contain a tracking number for your convenience. If possible, please ship to a physical address so the gift can be shipped UPS.
Am I charged for reroute due to an incorrect address?
Yes. Rerouting due to an incorrect address will incur a $15 charge to the buyer.
How do I add items to my cart?
Whether you are shipping a gift to yourself or to someone else, enter the quantity desired in the QTY box. Then click the “Add to Cart” button. Your gift will appear in the cart on the right side of the screen. You will choose your recipients and addresses at checkout. You can also add more quantities and recipients during step 1 of checkout.
How do I shop using my address book?
If you have stored addresses in your address book (from placing previous orders online), you can recall these addresses during checkout. During step 1 of checkout, use the drop downs to select an existing address. You can even update the address once selected. Just click “edit address”. This drop down also allows you to enter a new address or ship to the billing address. Any changes to address in checkout will be saved to your address book.
You can also manage your address book from the My Account section. Sign in and click the “Manage Address Book Link.”
How do I ship two gifts to different people at the same address?
Shipping two gifts to different people at the same address requires two separate shipments. You will have to enter each recipient and address separately.
While shopping, choose the gift you would like to send. Enter 2 in the QTY box and click "Add to Cart" button.
In step 1 of checkout, the QTY will be broken out into two drop downs (one for each individual gift). Click on each drop down and either choose your recipients from your address book, or choose a “Enter a new address.”
