Frozen Brownie Pops

You can have your brownie and your frozen treat, too!

Frozen Belgian chocolate brownies dipped in chocolate and decorated with your favorite toppings are a sweet and refreshing way to beat the heat! You don’t have to wait for summer, though. These fun desserts are sure to deliver smiles year-round.

Pro tip: Freeze your Fairytale Brownies before and after dipping them in chocolate.

We used snack-size Fairytale Sprites for these frozen brownie pops. If you prefer a smaller portion, you could use Magic Morsels for perfect bite-size desserts.

Ingredients:

  • 12 Snack-size Fairytale Sprites
  • 12 popsicle sticks
  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp. coconut or vegetable oil
  • Toppings of your choice (mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, coconut, sea salt, etc.)

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
  2. Gently insert one popsicle stick into one short end of each Fairytale Sprite.
  3. Place brownies on sticks onto the lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight.
  4. In the microwave, melt the chocolate with the oil uncovered in a glass bowl. Check and stir every 30 seconds until the melted chocolate is smooth.
  5. Working with one brownie at a time, dip the top half of a frozen brownie on a stick in the melted chocolate.
  6. Sprinkle with desired toppings.
  7. Place each dipped and decorated brownie pop back on the baking sheet lined with wax paper.
  8. Return the tray of brownie pops to the freezer until ready to serve.
