Junior Developer
The Fairytale Brownies Programmer Analyst assists with a variety of full stack software development and maintenance operations including automations, vendor integrations and Intranet applications. You'll be part of a team of 3 and be responsible for maintenance and development of a wide variety of software
solutions.
Duties:
Software Development and Maintenance
- Assists with designing software solutions.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation.
- Maintains and debugs software.
- Provides support including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Database support
- Assists with database design, maintenance, and ETL tasks.
- Writes and maintains SQL reports.
- Provides support including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Assists with the analysis of reports as needed.
IT Support
- Assists IT team with network configuration, software configuration, administration, and end user support as needed.
- Assists with projects by providing creative solutions and technical expertise.
Other
- Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
- Contributes to the team effort by assisting In other departments as needed.
- Performs all of the above duties to the best of one's ability, and with the utmost Integrity, honesty and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 1 + years' experience designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting database driven web applications.
- Expert understanding of the PHP programming language and application development processes In a Linux/Apache environment.
- Significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Including stored procedure and function development, replication, and general maintenance routines, OL TP transactions and creating SQL reports.
- Proficient with Linux command line
- Proficient with Linux and Windows as server operating systems.
- Experience providing end-user technical support as well as managing and following up on support issues.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and concepts to a business environment.
- Ability to multi-task and simultaneously carry out multiple priorities with strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to easily articulate and convey ideas, solutions, and recommendations to other team members.
- Experience with Ecometry/Mail order is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with IIS, C#, and ASP.NET is a strong plus.
